Meet the Japac team
Japac Homes was established in 2002 by Palmerston North couple Paul and Janine Haydock who after building and renovating homes for themselves discovered they had a real passion for house building and design.
The company has been successfully operating in the Palmerston North area now for over twenty years and has built a solid reputation for reliability, quality and loyal customer and supplier relationships. Japac is proud to be locally owned and operated - when you build with Japac you will deal personally with the owners of the company.
Japac Homes is committed to building stylish homes with a difference. Rather than being limited by a standard range of floor plans each home is individually designed to make maximum use of the space, light and sun offered by the site it is built on.
Meet the Management Team
Paul has now moved to an administrative role and is accompanied by Karl Bryson who started with Japac Homes over ten years ago as a foreman and is now a shareholder and co-owner of the company.
Together Paul and Karl oversee the day to day operation of the company and manage land acquisition, development design, resource consents, sales and finance. They are both passionate about what they do and love nothing more than seeing a development go from an idea on a set of plans to a finished product.
Our finance and accounting division is managed by Julie Bryson a chartered accountant with 12 years public practice experience. Since having children Julie has swapped over to commercial accounting and works part time for Japac.
Meet the Creative Team
Janine continues part time in her role as stylist and designer for our homes but now also oversees marketing and legal and technical documents.
Anne Madigan has been with Japac for nearly fifteen years and is passionate about her role as an interior designer and stylist. Anne loves nothing more than helping Japac clients turn their new home dreams into reality and is known for going above and beyond to give them a range of choices and inspiration.
Tui Merwood is the newest addition to our fabulous design team and joins us from a long background in a retail design. Tui brings a fresh new aesthetic to the Japac creative process and is enjoying working with customers on their new home visions. Tui is also responsible for our property maintenance and will be the voice you hear and the smiling face you see when you phone or visit our office.
Meet the Onsite Team
Our team of builders are supported by two foreman, Sonny Waqatairewa and Braedon Moratti who are both experienced carpenters and are now responsible for overseeing our home builds with site visits undertaken each and every day to ensure that schedules and quality control are strictly adhered to.
All our homes are delivered to our buyers fully landscaped. Our landscape team is led by Robin Bakokoto who ensures that our client's landscape vision is brought to life and that our homes are pristine and ready for handover down to every last detail including a clothesline and letterbox.
